Working in Kingston Springs

What we see on Kingston Springs roofs

Kingston Springs grew around sulfur springs that drew visitors as early as 1819, when a hotel and tavern opened near the water. The Kingston Springs Hotel and Buildings, rebuilt in the 1890s after a fire, is listed on the National Register, and thirteen cottages from the 1860s also survive. The town incorporated in 1965 with 290 residents, and residential growth picked up after municipal sewer service arrived in the 1980s.

Homes range from Ellersly, built in 2017 and 2018 within walking distance of Main Street, to Harpeth Meadows, Bluffs of Harpeth, Woodlands of the Harpeth, and the Interstate West Ranchettes. Farther out, roads like Mount Pleasant Road and Treanor Springs Road lead to ridge top homes, cabins, and wooded tracts of several acres, and some rural properties carry horse barns. The Golf Club of Tennessee, a gated Tom Fazio course that opened in 1991, has homes along Champion Hills Drive.

Trees define most lots here. Wooded hillsides and bluff top homes mean limbs over the roof, leaves in the valleys, and tight room for a truck and dumpster, so we plan each job around the slope and the driveway. Kingston Springs is about an hour from Murfreesboro, reached by Interstate 40 at Exit 188, so we schedule Cheatham County work in blocks and ask that you call ahead so we can line up dates.

Common needs

What Kingston Springs homeowners usually call about

Wooded hillside lots

Ridge and bluff lots bring overhanging limbs and tight driveways. We stage materials and debris removal around the grade and protect decks and plantings below the eaves.

Near the historic downtown

The town adopted downtown design guidelines in 2003. For homes near Main Street, we check whether any guidelines apply before you settle on colors and materials.

Gated golf community

Homes inside the Golf Club of Tennessee need gate access arranged ahead of time. We also provide product sheets if the community reviews exterior changes.
