By accessing the Site, submitting a form, contacting us by phone or text message, or engaging us for services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Age Restriction
You must be at least 18 years of age to use this Site, sign up for our SMS messaging program, or engage Shyld Roofing for services. Our services are intended for adults (18 and older). If you are under 18, please do not use this Site, do not submit your phone number, and do not opt in to receive text messages from us. By using this Site or our messaging program, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

Shyld Roofing offers residential and commercial roofing, siding, gutter, and storm restoration services in Middle Tennessee. Specific scope, materials, timeline, and pricing for any project are governed by the written estimate or contract you sign with us. These Terms govern Site use and general communications; the project contract controls the work itself.
3. Free Inspections and Estimates
Free roof inspections and written estimates are offered with no obligation. Estimates are valid for the period stated on the estimate document. Material prices and availability may change after that period.
4. SMS / Text Message Program
Description of SMS program and messaging use cases
Shyld Roofing operates an SMS messaging program for the following use cases: (a) responding to customer inquiries submitted through our website chat widget at shyldroofing.com/text-us, (b) confirming and reminding scheduled inspection and service appointments, (c) following up on roof inspections and project proposals, (d) requesting reviews after job completion, and (e) sending occasional promotional offers if you have separately opted in to marketing messages. Customer-care messages and promotional messages are governed by separate, independent consent checkboxes in our chat widget.
Consent
By providing your phone number through our website form, chat widget, by replying to a message from us, or during a phone or in-person interaction, you consent to receive calls and text messages from Shyld Roofing related to your inquiry, scheduled appointments, projects, and (if you opt in separately) promotional offers. Marketing consent is optional and not a condition of receiving customer service from us.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your project and preferences. You may receive up to several messages per week during an active project; outside of active engagements, frequency is typically much lower.
Message and data rates
Standard message and data rates may apply. Text messaging fees are billed by your wireless carrier, not by Shyld Roofing. We do not charge a fee to send or receive text messages, but your wireless carrier's standard rates apply to messages you send and receive.
Instructions to opt out (Text STOP)
Reply STOP at any time to opt out of all non-transactional text messages from Shyld Roofing. After replying STOP you will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages. Reply HELP for help, or to reach a person. You may also opt out by emailing shyldroofing@gmail.com with the word “STOP” in the subject line.
Carrier liability disclaimer
Wireless carriers (including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, and other carriers) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Shyld Roofing is not responsible for any data or message charges imposed by your wireless carrier, nor for any delivery failures, delays, or interruptions caused by carrier networks, technical issues, or factors outside our control.

For training and quality purposes, calls with our office may be recorded.
Privacy

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All categories exclude text messaging originator opt in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
5. Use of the Website
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the Site. Prohibited uses include attempts to gain unauthorized access to our systems, scraping the Site without permission, transmitting malware, and impersonating Shyld Roofing or any other person.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, and designs — is owned by Shyld Roofing or used with permission and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Each project we install includes a written workmanship warranty plus the manufacturer's material warranty. Nothing on this Site creates a warranty beyond those written documents.
9. Disclaimers
The Site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shyld Roofing disclaims all warranties about the Site, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shyld Roofing's total liability arising out of or related to your use of the Site shall not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). Shyld Roofing shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from your use of the Site. Liability for any signed project contract is governed by that contract, not by these Site Terms.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Shyld Roofing harmless from claims arising out of your violation of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Site.
