Chapel Hill, Marshall County
Roof repair and replacement in Chapel Hill.
Chapel Hill is a small town at the north end of Marshall County on US 31A, about two and a half miles north of Henry Horton State Park and the Duck River. It grew from 943 residents in 2000 to 1,717 in 2020.
Working in Chapel Hill
What we see on Chapel Hill roofs
The town was settled in 1808 and named by settlers from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. US 31A, known as Nashville Highway north of town, runs together with Highway 99 through downtown, and Old Columbia Road heads east toward Unionville. Forrest School and Chapel Hill Elementary serve local families, and residential growth led the town to expand services, including a new elementary school.
South of town, US 31A crosses the Duck River at Henry Horton State Park, created in 1961 on the former estate of Governor Henry Horton. The park holds the Buford Ellington Golf Course and the Wilhoite Mill Trail, which passes the remains of the last mill in Marshall County. Farming has long driven the county economy, and if your property has a barn or shop along with the house, we can inspect every roof in one visit and price each one separately.
Chapel Hill is roughly 45 minutes from Murfreesboro by Highway 99, through Rockvale and Eagleville and then on Chapel Hill Pike. That puts it near the outer edge of an easy day trip, so we try to pair Chapel Hill appointments with other work in northern Marshall and western Bedford County. Tell us your address when you call and we will name the next open window.
Common needs
What Chapel Hill homeowners usually call about
Roofs from the growth years
Homes added as the town grew after 2000 may still have their original shingles. A photo inspection shows where yours stands before a storm claim or a sale.
Town planning office
The town has its own Planning and Community Development department. We check with that office before work starts if your project needs a permit.
