Working in Arrington

What we see on Arrington roofs

Arrington started as a settlement called Petersburg and was renamed in 1858 for a nearby creek. A historical marker in front of the Arrington Volunteer Fire Department on Murfreesboro Road notes that the first store and post office stood at the corner of Wilson Pike and Murfreesboro Road. The community is still unincorporated, and while nearly all of the 37014 ZIP code lies in Williamson County, a small share of addresses along its southern edge fall in Rutherford County.

Most of the housing is far newer than that history. Kings’ Chapel, a gated community of more than 420 homes, sits near High Park Hill, Hardeman Springs, Fiddler’s Glen, and Pine Creek. Many homes in these neighborhoods were finished in the 2020s, in brick and fiber cement, and new construction is still going up. Larger homes like these tend to carry complex roof lines, with more valleys and wall flashing to get right. Away from the subdivisions, Arrington still has farmhouses, horse properties, and acreage along roads like Cox Road and Neal Road, and Patton Road leads to Arrington Vineyards.

The land rolls, with hilltop homesites, valley views, and wooded lots side by side. Wooded lots drop leaves and twigs into valleys and gutters all year, so we clear and check those areas as part of every inspection. Arrington is one of the shorter drives in our range, about 25 minutes from Murfreesboro on Highway 96 through Triune.

Common needs

What Arrington homeowners usually call about

HOA review packets

Many Arrington subdivisions have HOAs. If yours reviews exterior changes, we assemble product sheets and color samples for the approval request so the board has what it needs.

Complex roof lines

Big homes with stacked gables, dormers, and long valleys need flashing and ventilation planned one roof plane at a time. We photograph each section so you see the same details we do.

Hilltop wind exposure

Homes on Arrington’s hilltop sites catch wind from several directions. We look closely at ridge caps, edge metal, and nail lines, where wind lifted shingles usually start.
